TCU Horned Frogs vs New Mexico Lobos Preview - NCAA Football

Texas Christian are the only undefeated team in action on Saturday.

The TCU Horned Frogs are the only BCS National Champion contender in action on Saturday as NCAA football was very busy on Friday this week with Boise State, Auburn, and Oregon having already played their games for the week.

 

In the case of Boise State, the Broncos are no longer undefeated as they lost to the Nevada Wolf Pack in a competitive game and that result eliminates Boise State from national championship contention. 

Auburn and Oregon on the other hand both remained undefeated and there will no longer be much doubt surrounding Auburn's status as a BCS championship game entrant as the Tigers beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa by 1.

TCU will almost certainly be the number 3 team in the nation with the new rankings on Sunday as the Horned Frogs have an easy game against the New Mexico Lobos.

TCU enter the game 11-0 while New Mexico enter the game 1-10 and that about says it all for who the straight up winner will be.

Anything less than a 30+ point victory for the Horned Frogs will be discrediting although there is no spread that TCU can put up against this weak team that will be impressive enough to get them over the hurdle of being ranked 3rd next week.
